Bedside Frame
The Oswestry Standing Frame

The Oswestry Standing Frame was developed over 40 years ago in conjunction with the Spinal Unit of the Robert Jones and Agnes Hunt Hospital in Gobowen near Oswestry.

Not only are the frames used to assist in the rehabilitation of Spinal Injuries but also with other neurological conditions such as MS (multiple sclerosis) and cerebral palsy.

They are available in both fixed wooden (standard-photo left and bedside-photo far left) and adjustable height stainless steel (bottom photo) forms.

All frames are available with or without the powered lifting mechanism.

The Oswestry frames are robustly built but also relatively light in weight.

The adjustable height frame is also easy to dismantle for transportation or storage purposes.

Many optional accessories are available i.e. trunk and  knee supports. We can also customise our  frames  to suit particular
